SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS.
This versatile set has been designed to use the six main trucks in different configurations for the various scenes in the show.
The different layouts for each individual scene can be viewed in the plans at the rear of the brochure.
Full cloth size is 36’ x 17’ 6’’.
There is a main forest / mountain backcloth to compliment all the full stage scenes, and a show / forest gauze which is utilised in a downstage position.
There is a downstage and upstage forest cutcloth (each in two halves so they can be set as far apart or as near to each other as the Director prefers). Both cutcloths have a matching soft border in the same design.
There are also three ‘half round’ flown tree trunks which can be flown in for the woods scene if required.
The barn scene has a rear cutcloth with a centrally located small opening, the midstage cutcloth in this scene having a much larger opening.
The avalanche scene has a double width black main cloth with a cut out gauzed section. This is pulled across the stage with the cart moving across stage simultaneously to the front. As the cart moves offstage, two ‘trick’ avalanche cloths drop in behind the cut out gauzed section of the black main cloth, giving the impression of the cart just escaping the avalanche. The show / forest gauze is to the front of the cart in this scene.
Maximum truck height is 12’ 6’’, which is the central largest truck in the Pontipee internal house scene.
Prosceneium can also provide any props you may require for this show, from authentic American rifles, to crates and bales for the barn scene.
